Interview with Sendance GmbH

Sendance is a spin-off of the LIT Soft Materials Lab at the JKU Linz, which develops and markets electronics and sensor technology on permeable, stretchable and structurally adapted substrates. These properties enable the integration of sensors in areas where this was previously not possible. The first application enables the integration of pressure sensors into orthopaedic aids, which can monitor the fit and reduce the fitting effort for orthopaedic technicians. Future developments should also enable the use of sendance's sensors in other areas of medical technology, such as decubitus prophylaxis and wound dressings. The video discusses the benefits of sendance grid technology, how sendance's soft electronic technology addresses the needs of individuals with diabetes, and sendance's vision to "bring wearables to life."
