Dr. Kuang Xihe is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Orthopaedics at The University of Hong Kong and concurrently serves as the Chief Medical Engineer at Conova Medical Technology Ltd. He earned his Ph.D. in Medicine from HKU (2019-2023) following a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Beihang University (2015-2019). His research specializes in medical image analysis, deep learning, pathology diagnosis/prediction, and AI-driven quantitative assessment. He has authored multiple publications in prestigious journals and conferences and co-leads two ITF-funded projects totaling over HKD 10 million, focusing on AI-enhanced surgical planning and navigation systems.
