Wim Christiaens is General Manager – Business, Strategy & Technology at Quad Industries, where he leads strategic development, customer partnerships, and the industrialisation of advanced printed, flexible, and stretchable electronics solutions for medical, industrial, and wearable applications.

He holds a PhD in flexible and stretchable electronics from imec / Ghent University and combines a strong technical background in printed electronics and flex/stretch circuit technologies with extensive experience in manufacturability and industrial scalability.

Over the past 15+ years, Wim has played a key role in bridging R&D and high-volume manufacturing, helping companies transform innovative electronic concepts into scalable and commercially viable products. His expertise spans printed electronics, wearable technologies, smart interfaces, and advanced sensor integration, with particular emphasis on medical wearables, smart patches, and biosensor applications.

At Quad Industries, part of the Naxnova Group, he is driving the company’s strategic growth in wearable healthcare technologies, printed electronics, and advanced electronic manufacturing.
