Experiences & Awards:

Dr Steve Chuang founded ProVista Group in 1995, which has evolved into a one-stop service provider in the fields of research and development, advanced manufacturing, sales, and marketing of electronics products. The company has taken a leading position in solar power generation systems, energy storage systems, automotive and RV electronics, power solutions, as well as e-health IoT products. Under Dr Chuang’s leadership, the company won the Grand Award of Consumer Products of the Hong Kong Awards for Industries in 2007 and the Silver Award FHKI/Hang Seng Pan PRD Environmental Award in 2013. He also led the company to be a three-time winner of the Hong Kong Electronics Industrial Awards’ Gold Award and the Product of the Year in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively. Launched in 2023, the ProVista Inno Park, located at Songshan Lake in Dongguan and established under the ProVista Group, is an exemplary innovation & industrial park providing support for entrepreneurial incubation, ranging from R&D, engineering design, and manufacturing to market development.

In recognition of his contribution, Dr Chuang was honoured with the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong in 2007 and the Outstanding Young Chinese Entrepreneur in 2008.

Academic & Professional Qualifications:
Dr Chuang obtained a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computing Engineering with a first-class honour at the University of Portsmouth, UK. He holds the esteemed titles of Honorary Professor at Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) and Adjunct Professor at CityU Academy of Innovation. He obtained the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the City University of Hong Kong in 2025.
