Sarah Versnel is a plastic surgeon, Assistant Professor, and Medical Director of the Smart Health Tech Center (SHTC) at Erasmus MC. Working at the intersection of clinical care, research, and technological innovation, she focuses on new technologies that can improve healthcare, with advanced wound care as a key area of clinical expertise. She also leads the development of the Smart Wound Care Hub, bringing together clinical, scientific, industry, and defense partners to accelerate innovation and the adoption of new solutions in wound care.
