Dr. Rakesh Sethi is SVP and General Manager at TDK’s US R&D Center responsible for TDK’s Sensors and Actuators R&D and business development. His recent focus is on developing System Integrators and OEM relationships in medical and life science technologies for TDK. Anti-Aging engineering using TDK Silmee wearables and non-invasive mapping of cardiovascular disease using TDK Nivio magneto-resistive sensors for arrhythmia detection and localization are a few areas of current interest. He was previously Vice President and Technology Executive at Toshiba Inc., responsible for system-level Ics for medical and lifescience products. He has a PhD in EE from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa.
