Dr Pelle Rangsten holds a PhD in Solid-State Electronics from Uppsala University. He has 25+ years of experience working in innovative high-tech companies focused on MEMS-based products from MedTech to space applications. He is a co-founder of Ascilion AB in Sweden.

Ascilion designs, develops and manufactures products based on hollow microneedles for the sampling of dermal interstitial fluid (dISF). Ascilion’s sampling system enables new biomedical research and future diagnostic opportunities by collecting sufficiently large volumes of dermal interstitial fluid for subsequent analysis in an operator and patient friendly way.
