Louis Mayaud leads technology and innovation at Rhythm Diagnostic Systems (RDS), a leader in continuous vital-sign monitoring. He holds a D.Phil. in Healthcare Innovation from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, where he applied machine learning and evolutionary methods (using the Harvard-MIT MIMIC-III database) and served as principal investigator on a Brain-Computer Interface project for speech-free ICU patients. He then spent five years driving clinical innovation at Mensia Technologies, a pioneer in home-based neuropsychiatric devices, where he led the €3.6M H2020 NEWROFEED project—delivering a landmark multicentre randomised controlled trial and CE clearance (Class IIa) of the first home-based medical device for ADHD.
