Johannes Durschang started his career in the automotive field as product manager for power electronics in EV´s and HEV´s. After working in the R/D for an automotive OEM he was joining VARTA Microbattery in 2015. In his position as Head of Sales Americas Li-Ion CoinPower, he is taking care of various international top customers and secures finding the perfect energy supply for innovative products.

In his talk “Rechargeable Independence – Empowering Wearables by Lithium-Ion cells”, Johannes will talk about that wired devices are almost obsolete in the wearables growth market. Wearable technologies of the future are mobile, wireless, and are powered by a battery with a long lifetime.
