Fabio Borsoi is the Global R&D Director for Luxottica, where he leads all activities related to new technology for the company. Leading a team of over 50 highly skilled professionals around the world, Borsoi is focused on pioneering the future of smart eyewear.

He previously served as VP of Wearable Technology at Luxottica, establishing a corporate strategy for electronic-enabled products. In this role, he co-founded a new office in Silicon Valley to help the company drive its digital innovation and collaboration.

During his 15-year career with Luxottica, Fabio has held a variety of roles across Engineering and Research & Development. He is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's in Business Administration.
