Being passionate about human health, Dr. Valer Pop is driven to empower people around the globe with digital healthcare technology. Valer holds a PhD degree and has a background in medical, business, financial and corporate strategy. He founded LifeSense Group in 2015 as a spin-off of Holst Centre-imec. LifeSense Group products Carin, Wil and Oopsie Heroes are meanwhile available in over 36 countries (Taiwan, Australia, Belgium, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Philippines,... ). He is (co-)author of over 70 international papers, holds over 35 patents and over the past two decades has been invited speaker to over 100 global events.
