Sonja is the Managing Partner of Navispace GmbH, the tech innovation company behind the Innovation World Cup Series, founded in 2003. She is also Chairwoman of the Federal Commission for Startups and Founders (BVMW). With +20 years of experience in business development, innovation strategy, and entrepreneurship, she and her teams have successfully connected hundreds of techpreneurs with key industry players and investors. Previously, she worked for the embedded systems company ESG, the Boston Consulting Group, and Witten Herdecke University. Sonja holds a degree in business economics and won the annual university award for her Ph.D. thesis. She is the author of several publications and a board member of consulting companies, accelerators, and universities. In her free time, Sonja loves doing sports outdoors with her two daughters.
