Dr. Daniela Zavec is an expert in the field of smart textiles and business manager for sustainable transformation. In 2012, she founded Titera and 12 years later, she combined her consulting skills with her enthusiasm for engineering and invested in the acquisition of ITP GmbH Germany. Today she is CEO of ITP GmbH, coach in European innovation acceleration programs and technical director of the EU Smart X Innovation Hub. Her main business focus at ITP GmbH is on engineering challenges, where they solve the problems of their customers as a technology provider and system integrator. To differentiate themselves from the competition, ITP's approach is to start engineering from the user's needs.  

Dr. Daniela Zavec has a Ph.D. in Textile and Clothing Science from the University of Maribor, Slovenia with knowledge in predictive analysis of textile materials using AI methods.

She is involved in Erasmus education programs, providing expertise in smart textile courses for students and adults. One of her strong points is knowledge transfer and bridging the gap between academic institutions and industry.
