Tony Shilati is a 3rd-year PhD student at Northwestern University and is a member of the NSF Human AugmentatioN via Dexterity Engineering Research Center (HAND ERC). As a member of the HAND center, Shilati leads benchmarking efforts to understand what constitutes ‘good’ dexterous performance and, further, which design factors affect the performance of a dexterous robot hand.
