Agnes is Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of pheal, a German deep-tech startup developing new ways of continuous health monitoring through sensor-based smart patches. The startup focuses on the early detection and prevention of critical health changes based on continuous tracking of relevant health biomarkers in real-time.
The vision is to prevent unnecessary deaths and rapid health deterioration by giving everyone the ability to monitor critical health data - and receive timely warnings of impending health risks.

She has more than 10 years of experience in clinical research and clinical development in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech industries, most of that time as head of clinical operations in a global contract research organisation.

Agnes is an advocate for startups in the field of digital health. As spokesperson for the Digital Health working group at the German Society for Pharmaceutical Medicine, she advocates for the acceptance and implementation of this innovative field in healthcare.

She holds an MSc in Biomedicine and a PhD in Biochemistry.
