DizzyEX is a Stanford-origin medical device company developing an ambulatory diagnostic service for episodic vertigo. Its technology captures clinically recognized eye-movement biomarkers during real-world attacks to help clinicians identify underlying causes within weeks instead of months or years. The company is led by an interdisciplinary team of engineers, neurotologists, neurologists, and experienced medical device operators from Stanford, UPMC, and industry. The team’s work has received recognition at major medical conferences, including the AAO-HNSF ENTrepreneur Faceoff and the World Congress of Audiology. DizzyEX is also supported by StartX and Fogarty Innovation’s Company Accelerator Program. By enabling earlier diagnosis and more appropriate treatment, DizzyEX aims to improve patient outcomes while reducing repeated testing and unnecessary healthcare costs.
