ProGlove, a Munich, Germany-based leading provider of industrial wearables just launched a new wearable barcode scanner for companies with low-frequency scanning environments such as product returns or quality control. Dubbed ‘Reel’, the scanner features pull-to-action function. Its customizable attachment positions ensure there is no contact with the scanned items, so it is also a perfect option for those organizations that handle highly sensitive elements. When the highly durable 27.5-inch Aramid thread is pulled, Reel’s pull-to-action feature triggers the scan engine. Workers can easily scan items within their reach, without having to carry a heavy, bulky, conventional pistol scanner, said a press release.
