Jim saw first hand the importance of protecting intellectual property for early start ups and innovators in his prior venture, HealthBeacon an IoT Medical Adherence Company, which he founded and served as the CEO. Before his entrepreneurial success, he worked for 10 years in the pharmaceutical Industry in varied roles at Schering Plough including Director of USA Finance Division and Director of Europe/Mid East/Canada, having worked in USA and Europe and have experience with both Primary Care and Specialty Biotech Product Lines. Prior to the pharmaceutical industry worked in financial services for investment firms of Smith Barney, Brown Brothers Harriman, and AG Edwards.
