Dr. Rokesh

Head of Corporate Health

CareClinics Group Malaysia

Dr Rokesh (Dr Rokeshwar Hari Dass) is Head of Corporate Health, Marketing and Communications at CareClinics Healthcare Services Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia’s largest private primary care networks, with more than 180 clinics nationwide, over 200 corporate and government clients, and backing from Sumitomo Corporation through SC Healthcare Holdings.

A physician by training (MD, UCSI University, 2013) with an MBA with Distinction from Nilai University, he is a NIOSH-certified Occupational Health Doctor, a Certified Medical Review Officer, an MSQH-certified Medical Surveyor and an ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor, and holds a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine from Universiti Malaya. His career spans clinical practice with the Malaysian Ministry of Health, where he led a structured diabetes management programme at a public primary care clinic that more than doubled the proportion of patients achieving HbA1c target, from 8% to 19.5% within twelve months, through medical directorship and chief operating roles in private clinic groups, to his current national portfolio.

At CareClinics he is accountable for corporate health and occupational health services, clinical governance and MSQH accreditation, and healthcare cost containment for corporate and insurer clients, leading a multidisciplinary team of occupational health physicians and certified technicians serving employers across manufacturing, plantation, logistics and financial services. He has grown the corporate health division more than fourfold during his tenure, and represents the group in payor engagement, positioning primary care as the principal lever for healthcare cost optimisation.

He currently leads the development of CareClinics’ Remote Patient Monitoring programme, built in partnership with HealthBeats®, spanning five chronic disease pathways, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and heart failure, obesity and weight management, and respiratory disease. He is responsible for its clinical protocols, escalation matrices and operating model, and for the commercial case put to employers and insurers, where continuous monitoring is positioned as an avoidable-admission and claims-cost management tool rather than a wellness add-on. At Medical Fair Asia 2026 he brings the operator’s perspective on digital chronic care in private primary care, where disease is managed at volume, funded largely by employers and third-party payors, and delivered by general practitioners rather than specialist teams.
