Aghetto Srl is a startup that owns an international patent for an innovative syringe.  Syringes currently on the market require the use of two hands to detach the cap from the needle and the needle from the syringe.  However, healthcare workers don't always have both hands free because they often have to handle other objects or instruments.  With the Aghetto syringe, just one hand is enough to detach the cap from the needle and the needle from the syringe.  The healthcare worker can then use the other hand for other tasks (for example, holding a vial, a venous cannula, a cotton swab, an ultrasound probe, or restraining an animal in veterinary medicine).
